Effective date: October 6, 2026
This Policy applies to the SLICE Tech Support website and services provided by SLICE and Made For Tech (“SLICE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Read it with our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, contact preferences, service selection, scheduling information, payment information handled through a payment provider, and a description of the help you request. If you buy support for another person, provide their information only with appropriate permission.
Information generated during support
We may keep service notes such as devices discussed, the general issue, actions taken, appointments, and follow-up needs. During remote support, a technician may see information displayed on your screen. Please close or hide information not needed for support.
Website information
Our server may receive an IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, dates, times, and security logs. Essential browser storage may support site functionality. Third-party fonts or services may receive technical connection information under their policies.
2. How we use information
- Respond to questions and provide support.
- Schedule remote sessions and residential visits.
- Process orders and send service communications.
- Manage SliceConcierge memberships.
- Maintain service notes and improve quality.
- Protect customers, devices, our website, and business from fraud or misuse.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Remote support and sensitive information
Remote access occurs only with permission and may be ended at any time. We do not need your complete payment-card number, banking password, or one-time authentication code for technology support; do not share them with us.
SLICE is not a healthcare provider and ordinary support is not designed to receive protected health information. When helping you reach a healthcare professional or patient portal, avoid sharing medical details unless necessary and close sensitive records when not needed.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to vendors that provide hosting, communications, scheduling, remote support, payments, or security; to a purchaser or recipient as needed to coordinate authorized service; when required by law; to protect safety and rights; or as part of a business transfer. Providers may use information only as permitted by their agreements and law.
5. Payment information
When online payment is enabled, card details will be handled by a secure third-party payment provider rather than stored directly through this website. The provider’s privacy policy also applies.
6. Retention and security
We retain information as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, protect security, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or object to certain uses, subject to legal exceptions and identity verification. Some states provide additional rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
You may opt out of non-service marketing through the method provided or by contacting us. We may still send communications necessary for requested services.
8. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child provided information.
9. External links
Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not govern them.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy by posting a revised version and effective date. For questions or privacy requests, email hello@slicetechsupport.com or call (555) 555-0148.
